Program Postcard Reading: ART IS FOR EVERYONE SUPPORT ART ACCESS PARTNERS |Partners is a professional development program that matches an emerging artist with disabilities with an established artist for one-on-one mentoring. Art Access covers the cost of materials and supplies, pays both artists and coordinates professional development workshops for emerging artists. ARTIST WORKING GROUP | The Artist Working Group invites artists with disabilities to create a group show exploring disability’s relationship to other significant social topics. Art Access pays artists a stipend, provides a supply budget, and hosts an accessibly designed exhibit that is free to the public. BREAKING BARRIERS | Created in collaboration with the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, Breaking Barriers is a curriculum for helping cultural organizations improve their overall accessibility so that individuals with disabilities can fully participate in arts and cultural experiences. THE ART OF ACCESSIBILITY FOR EDUCATORS | The Art of Accessibility for Educators is a training helping arts education professionals better understand the barriers facing them and their students and create strategies for overcoming them to postively impact Utah students across abilites.
